Bourjois Sweet Paris Spring Look event

Celebrity makeup artist, amazing blogger and gorgeous friend Samira Olfat from www.fabprofashional.blogspot.com has been exclusively invited to the Bourjois Sweet Paris Spring Look event in Atelier Des Chefs, Le Meridien Dubai. We were then put to the task of baking cupcakes from scratch which was a big obstacle for us and then finally got to see the new Spring collection of Bourjois. This collection is inspired by all things candy and pastel to follow fashion and beauty trends of the season. Absolutely loved the collection so check out the video and discover it with us:

My shoot with Forever 21

Last month, I was lucky enough to be one of the bloggers to do an in-store photoshoot with Forever 21 at the Dubai Mall. I picked out a nice leather jacket with a laced dress (I love my lace and leather) with some ankle boots with studs. I’m actually really digging the orange lipstick, that color is really hot at the moment! Check out the pictures:

Sephora : Pretty in pink look 2012

The Sephora pretty in pink look for this SS12 has come out and of course I had to test it out for myself. Ok let’s start with the name “Pretty in Pink”. I love the collection and the name is really attractive but for a laced in leather person such as myself I had an EEK moment – I was wrong. I tested out their pink fuchsia lite color and it turned out really great, the brush is nice and thick and I only had to put 2 coats (consider that I took this picture in high resolution which explains the 2 coats, but 1 is perfectly fine to daily use).

I also tried out their smoothing primer and as you can see in the picture of my wrist, I have two tests of black eye shadow and the darkest is the one with the primer ! Proof that it works. I also put a great prune Sephora eyeliner – definite must-buy this summer.

A look into the final touches, 72 hours before “The Cloud Dress” was to hit the Oscar De La Renta NYFW runway. This is one of the most gorgeous and well designed dressed I have ever seen…the color and work in this dress is just perfect.

Fashion designer Aiisha Ramadan just launched her new Spring Summer 2012 collection : le pouvoir de la poudre (the power of powder). Bourjois: the perfect eye make-up tutorial

Over the months I have blogged a lot about the newest makeup in the market and as you may have noticed by now, I’m obsessed with mascaras. I think that mascara is the most important thing in your makeup bag. Finding the perfect mascara is kind of like finding the perfect pair of jeans, its difficult and it depends on the girl. For me, my two all time favorite mascaras are both by Bourjois – the rotating fast & perfect mascara and the volume glamour max definition mascara (posted about both already). My girlfriends are often asking me how to get the perfect day and evening look so I thought that instead of talking about it, I’d track down the perfect tutorial. Check out the first video for eyeshadow and the second video for mascara. I decided to add the mascara video because I dont want to recommend a product I have never tried before and I dont know the mascara they used in the eyeshadow tutorial. So for eyes, its the Bourjois iconic little round pots and for the second video its the Bourjois rotating fast & perfect mascara. Check it out and enjoy:
